Objective of PGDYTD
To orient doctors of Modern Medicine, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Naturopathy & Homeopathy, to be able to select the right type of yoga practices for health benefits in different conditions
Eligibility Prerequisities:Â
- Any Medical Graduate Degree.
- The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 50% marks ( 45% in case of SC/ST) in Medical Graduation
- Yoga Instructor’s Course (YIC) from SVYASA
- Those who did not complete YIC need to join for the Online YIC (Two months duration) conducted by Online Digital Learning (ODL) of SVYASA starting from 10th of June,2020.
- Entrance examination is completely based on YIC syllabus.

- To become well versed in research and improve the skills of carrying research with medical researchers in the field of yoga.
- Work towards realization of health for all, as a national goal through Yoga.
- To demonstrate the usefulness of yoga through contiguous effort and encourage a patient to practice yogic techniques without fail.
- To convince a patient to understand the root cause of problem as yoga believes in the concept ‘identification of a disease is 50% cure.
